NotesA flexible work schedule is available with work hours being
10-25 per week. Must be eligible to work in the United States on a
full-time basis for any employer.PurposeProvide administrative
support to the student aid accounting team in the Undergraduate
College Business Office during the peak processing summer
season.Responsibilities
- Provide various administrative support to the student aid
accounting team as part of the Undergraduate College portfolio
primarily processing outside scholarship checks and providing
accounting support including managing problem checks, contacting
donors, and keeping files accurate.
- Performs general office functions for any given department
reporting to Undergraduate College that works with the Business
Office directly including but not limited to - filing, copying,
faxing sorting. Provides basic temporary support for any given
department reporting to Undergraduate College at any given time and
general support to staff, faculty, and visitors.Required
QualificationsHigh school graduation or GED and 3 years of
experience performing clerical or administrative support. Highly
organized and capable of tracking and managing multiple tasks and
deadlines. Basic understanding of Office Suite and Outlook and
Adobe and comfortable navigating and using computers. Ability and
willingness to learn and use new technologies intuitively is
crucial. Written and verbal communication skills are critical, and
ability to present and communicate professionally and clearly is a
key element to this job in a business office serving over 500
employees.Relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate. Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with University of
Texas systems. Experience working within Undergraduate College.
Familiarity with UT Box, Smartsheet, Jira Service Desk, UT Austin
Mainframe. Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office
Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word.Salary
